I started my career in real estate back in 1999 when I first began buying and selling real estate for investment purposes.  Then in 2005, I became a licensed general contractor and started my construction company. Since that time, I have built custom and spec homes ranging in value from starter homes to homes in the million dollar price range. I am well versed in ground up residential construction and have an eye for architecture, design, and quality workmanship; all of which have helped me excel as a home builder. For years I have felt that becoming a residential real estate agent would be a natural fit for me due to my extensive construction background and industry resources. I have a passion for looking at raw property, seeing its potential, and how it can be put to its best use. Rena Saunier has had a successful career in real estate for over 20 years.  Prior to obtaining her sales license in 2014 Rena worked for a large title insurance provider; Fidelity National Title, in both the Seattle Washington and Flathead County Montana markets as an Escrow Officer. She began her career in real estate by filing film after school for a local title company and progressed into management over her 15 year career. 

Rena was nominated as The Rookie Of The Year by The Northwest Montana Association of REALTORS in 2016. Rena currently serves on the professional standards committee as well as the public relations committee for her local real estate association and has assisted with raising funds for local charities in that position.

Currently Rena is the supervising broker in her office, provides listing and marketing services for Fannie Mae bank owned properties, and maintains a large sphere of close friends, family and acquaintances that she assists with both selling and buying residential and commercial real estate. 


Rena is passionate, efficient, honest and ethical treating each transaction as if it was her own.  She aims to exceed her client's expectation and provide them with the highest level of service. 





Working as a real estate broker in Louisiana during the 1980s and as a Realtor in Montana since 2015 I have specialized in helping people buy and sell both residential and commercial properties.  I know the area well having lived in the Flathead Valley since 1993. My wife and I love animals & have enjoyed hiking, skiing, sailing and bird watching in our spare time.  We raised and showed horses for 15 years so I understand the unique needs of horse lovers and equine related properties. 

My skill set serves discerning buyers looking for unique high end properties as well as first time home buyers. I also have experience working with bank owned properties and new construction. Both the Realtor and PSA (Pricing Srategy Advisor) designations bring a higher level of ethics, professionalism & knowledge to my career. Expansive resources to aid in the probate process & a deep compassion for grief allows me to provide my assistance during some of the most difficult real estate transactions for people.  I strive to always put my client's best interest first and I welcome the opportunity to be your realtor through all stages of life!

It's naturally fitting that growing up with a family of builders in the Flathead Valley I would settle into a career in real estate.  I have a degree in Business Administration & Graphic design, along with over five years of working experience in the real estate industry. I currently hang my license at Big Sky Properties of Montana, Inc where I am mentored & trained by 136+ years of experienced Brokers & Realtors that all believe in our mission statement, "Big Enough to Matter, Small Enough to Care."
